Do you need a CAiO?
Tick what you are experiencing today. Two or more signals are usually enough to justify a dedicated lead.
What the CAiO actually does
The CAiO does not do everything alone: they decide, lead and bring in the right resources. Six missions, one goal: move your AI forward.
- 01
AI vision and leadership
Sets a clear course for leadership and turns it into priorities everyone understands.
- Clarifies the expected value for each employee, each team and the whole company
- Produces the roadmap, the priorities and the governance
- Leads decision-making with the executive committee
- 02
Usage framework with IT
Secures AI use without slowing it down, hand in hand with your IT department, CISO and DPO.
- Defines the AI Charter, the licence policy and the approved tools
- Frames the security, confidentiality and reliability of AI use
- Reduces shadow AI and uncontrolled usage
- 03
AI Ambassador network
The CAiO cannot be everywhere. They set up relays in each department who spread good practice across every team.
- Selects, frames and trains the relays in each department
- Organises staff training and the sharing of good practice
- Organises their rituals with the teams and with the CAiO
- Builds up a library of prompts and simple agents
- 04
AI backlog and roadmap
An idea does not automatically become a project: it goes through a qualification system.
- Centralises every need in a single backlog
- Qualifies and prioritises projects with the RICE method
- Moves the pipeline forward: idea, POC, pilot, production
- 05
Productivity and data audit
An agent can be no better than the information it can actually access.
- Spots the tasks that cost the most time
- Maps your tools, your ERP and your data sources, with their access blockers
- Identifies needs for data clean-up, permissions, APIs or connectors
- 06
Value and ROI
Avoids projects that are “cool” but useless, and proves the value of those that work.
- Measures adoption and real productivity gains
- Tracks the budget for licences, trainers and providers
- Stops or redirects projects that create no value
What you are really buying: ongoing leadership, decisions, deliverables and the coordinated use of the right resources.
Neither a hire nor contract staffing: a method
Hiring takes months; bringing in a contract consultant leaves each one to invent their own method. The Datajuba CAiO arrives equipped and backed by our experts.

|---|---|---|---|
| Method and deliverables | Built from scratch, alone | Each their own method | Provided from day one |
| Time to start | Months of recruitment | Fast | Fast |
| Expert support | Alone with the project | None | Trainers, experts, AI developers |
| Commitment | A full-time position | Flexible | At the pace of your ambition |
| The know-how stays with you | As long as they stay | It leaves with them | Documented method and tools |

Value is measured, not estimated
The CAiO avoids theoretical calculations. They measure real usage, real volume and real gains, then present them to your executive committee.
Realised value = real unit gain × real volume × real adoption
Tracked with your indicators: active users, licences in use, pilots, costs and return on investment.

Your questions about the CAiO
What is a part-time Chief AI Officer?
An outsourced AI leader who steers your AI transformation, from 2 days a month to 2 days a week. They shape the vision, frame AI use with IT, lead your AI Ambassadors, prioritise projects and measure the gains. They come with the Datajuba method and tools, so they are operational from the first month.
How much does a mission cost?
€1,100 excl. VAT per day with you, from €2,200 excl. VAT per month: Essential €2,200 excl. VAT, Integrated €4,400 excl. VAT, Reinforced €8,800 excl. VAT per month. An initial 3-month mission, then monthly. After the 15-minute call, you receive a costed proposal tailored to your organisation.
How is it different from AI training?
AI training is a one-off: it gives your teams the right habits and a command of the tools. The CAiO is an ongoing role: they decide what comes next, prioritise projects and keep adoption alive over time. The two complement each other, and the CAiO knows which courses to bring in at the right moment.
How long does a mission last?
A mission starts with a minimum of three months, the time it takes to set up the AI system. At the end, we decide together what comes next: your teams take over, the same pace continues, or a lighter presence for governance and rituals.
How many days does the CAiO spend with you?
Depending on the plan, from 2 days a month to 2 days a week: Essential 2 days a month, Integrated 4 days, Reinforced 8 days. Part of the time goes to steering (leadership, backlog, budget), the rest to the field (workshops, ambassadors, pilots). The format also works with remote teams.
Does the CAiO replace our IT department?
No. The CAiO works with your IT department, CISO and DPO on security, data and usage rules. When a topic needs specific expertise (data engineering, connectors, a complex agent), they qualify the need and bring in the right resource.
Do our teams need to be trained in AI already?
It is not required, but it is the most common situation. The CAiO makes the most sense when momentum already exists: licences rolled out, first courses delivered, ideas coming up. If you are starting from scratch, they begin by framing AI use with the AI Charter workshop, then build the training plan.
Can we hire the CAiO at the end of the mission?
Yes, it is possible. If the role becomes permanent in your company, we discuss it together and organise the transition. Either way, the method and tools put in place stay with you.
Who will be leading your AI three months from now?
15 minutes with a Datajuba expert to assess your AI maturity and see whether a part-time Chief AI Officer makes sense for you, and at what pace.
